The location was on point, right in the center of town, with parking right outside. The massive house was perfect for our squad of friends, with ensuite bathrooms, so no awkward bathroom sharing. Plus, there was this sick little patch of garden where we could chill and play some games.
The only thing we wished for was a dope game room or a cool basement hangout spot. A place where we could turn up the volume, blast some tunes, and have an epic party.

Breakfast delights would be even better with a wider variety of options.

The accommodation at this place was mind-blowing! The ensuite bedrooms were super stylish, and the kitchen had all the cookware and utensils we needed. The rustic charm and period features added to the jaw-dropping ambiance. The location on the high street was so convenient for shops, and the nearby hiking, cycling, and fishing opportunities were unbeatable. We had a blast in the bar/lounge area, and the flat-screen TV was perfect for relaxing after our golfing adventures. The staff was incredibly helpful and stored our luggage for us. Plus, having free Wi-Fi, an electric kettle, a dryer, and air conditioning were added luxuries. Most importantly, no pets or smoking made our stay even more enjoyable. We're already planning our next trip to this place to maintain the new high bar it has set for our future getaways!

I recently stayed at a charming, grand Victorian villa in a lovely little village. The accommodation was spacious with generously proportioned rooms and attached bathrooms in every bedroom. The location was perfect, right in the center of town with convenient parking. Despite its age, the house was clean and well-maintained. I especially enjoyed the small patch of garden where we could relax. The facilities were great, and there were plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this property.

The accommodation was a charming and rustic Georgian villa with generously proportioned rooms. Each bedroom had its own attached bathroom, which was really convenient. The central location on the high street made it easy to access shops and amenities. there was ample parking available right outside the property.
The decor of the house was a bit worn and dated, especially the sitting room furniture. The upholstery was old and uncomfortable, and some of the seats had visible springs.

I always return to this cozy retreat in Rothbury. The staff even helped with my bags on my first stay, which I still remember. It has everything I need - Wi-Fi, a dryer, an electric kettle, and kitchen utensils. Coming back for New Year! Amenities: air conditioning, TV, hiking.

The Orchard House in Rothbury totally blew me away! The room was so homely and cozy, I instantly felt right at home. The three floors made it feel like I was staying in my very own townhouse. And let me tell you, the bathrooms were amazing - 6 of them! Each had a shower, hairdryer, and even a washing machine. I mean, talk about convenience! As someone who likes to travel light, having access to a washing machine was a game-changer. I couldn't have asked for a more comfortable and practical stay.
Okay, so here's the only downside I could find - and it's purely subjective. The only thing I didn't love was the size of the rooms.

It was perfect for our group of six and set a new standard for future trips.
